Team are picked by the Captains.  The Captains are the previoius winners of the Championship and Handicap Tournaments.

Teams are announced the night before the first day of play at the Cocktail Party (to be announced)

QUOTA

  Quota is a point based format.  To determine how many points you need to win or come close, your course handicap will be deducted from 54 giving you the number of points needed to meet your quota.  (Example:  Course handicap of 24 will need 30 points to 'meet or make' their Quota points.)  You will either not make all your points or you might excede your quota points (that means you are playing well.  Because there are no points available after double bogey, you just pick up move on to the next hole.  (Example: A Par 4 - you are putting for a six (double bogey) and 'miss'.  Pick up, there are no points to be had.  You will post your score to GHIN.

 Points are as follows: Double Bogey, 1 pt, Bogey, 2 pts., Par, 3 pts., Birdie, 4 pts, Eagle, 5 pts.

LUCKY 4'S

In this game, the Par 3's and Par 5's will not be counted in your score.  Your score will only be the total of the Par 4's.  You can add your 3's and 5's back in to your score and post to GHIN.

SOLO Scramble

In this format, you will only play NINE holes.  However, it is played like a Scramble amongst yourself.  You will hit two shots each time, kind of like a mulligan on each shot.  You will pick the best shot each time and play from there.  Try your hand at something new, see if you can go over that creek or practice a shot with your lob wedge.  You have two attempts are it.  It's really FUN.  This is not a postable score to GHIN.

3 Clubs and a Putter

It's pretty much played like the title says.  You can only play with 3 clubs and your putter.  Choose wisely!  This is not a postable score to GHIN.

BEST NINE - Front and Back

You will play 18 holes of a Quota format.  There will winners for the Front Nine and winnes for for Back Nine.  This is a postable score to GHIN.

ALIBI

In this game, your THREE worst scores will be dropped from your total score.  

FRONT Nine - BACK Nine

A Quota format and teams consist of two players.  You are playing against the FIELD. 

Players 1 and 2 are a team and Players 3 and 4 are a team. Decide between player 1 and 2, and 3 and 4, who will play the FRONT nine and who will play the BACK nine.  Those players playing the FRONT nine, enter gross scores into Golf Genius.  Those NOT playing the FRONT nine, enter an X for each hole.  Repeat this scenario for those that chose to play the BACK nine.  Each player will only have scores for either the FRONT or BACK nine, and X's for the other  FRONT or BACK nine.

Example: Player 1 - FRONTl nine - XXXXXXXXX  BACK nine 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 for team score of 45

Player 2 - 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 6 team score of 46  BACK nine- XXXXXXXXX

One-half of the comibined handicaps will be subtracted from the teams quota score.  

Two-Man Quota

This format will be a two-man quota event.  Quota points for the pair will be combined for a total score.  

4-Man Stroke Play

This format will be a comprised of four players playing 'stroke' play.  85% of the players handicap will be used.  The foursome will be playing against the field.  Two 'best balls' will be counted for a score on each hole.
